"Bitchorize" Your Life: reMixing Personal Responsibility! PDF Print E-mail

You can’t ask another person to make up for all the things you missed while growing up.  You’ve got to take responsibility for yourself and your life.

You can’t assign all the blame to your childhood for the challenging areas in your life today.  If you’re grown and shit is still fucked up, it’s not your wounded child wreaking havoc.  It’s the lame ass adult in you making stupid decisions over and over again.

No!  You can’t keep asking everybody else to accommodate your bullshit.

Man up.  Bitchorize your life.

If you are grown and got a mouth, you can’t ask another person to be your mind-reader.

You can’t ask another person to tolerate your ineffective communication or to tone it down emotionally just because “emotional” makes you uncomfortable.

You can’t keep asking folks to spare your feelings or avoid conversations that provide critical insight just because you’ve insulated yourself from the truth your whole life.

If you’ve been wearing a diaper underneath those big boy britches all this time, you really need to consider going to your room and not coming out until you’re ready to be a man.

Tricks are for kids.

You can’t ask another person to trust you when you keep doing the opposite of what you say.

You can’t ask your lover to forgive you for the same shit you apologized for 2 weeks ago and have repeated at least 3 times sense.

You also can’t expect that another person owes you an apology for the fockery YOU keep allowing.

You can’t ask your lover to do or be what you’re not doing or being.

You can’t ask everyone else to meet you half way and you’re the type of person who never steps near a compromise.

Stop shroomin’.

Listen people.  You don’t get to cry about people not agreeing with your choices. If you wanna sell dope to the folks on your block who look just like you or date exclusively outside of your race, don’t complain about being misunderstood.  Self-hate is clear.

You don’t get to ask people to be patient with you while you get your life together and continue doing exactly what you were doing the same time last year.

No! You don’t get to complain about the same shit everyday if you’re not willing to do anything about it.

Bitchorize your life.
Mute the volume on all the excuses for why you’re not (doing) better.

Oh! This is real talk . . . I`m loving it and want more. It seems too many "grown" folks are finding excuses for everything they do today or looking to point the blame at someone else for their mediocrity. You hit on all points above. I`m still in bed and you just revitalized my mind and spirit.

I`m very interested in your Lifestyle and Personal Coaching Workshops. Do you have any in Atlanta coming up or is there a way we can setup a Conference or WebEx. I'm seeking elevation and consciousness that seems to evade me.

I look forward tohearing from you!

Peace
