If you want something different, you have to do something different. You have to behave differently.
I invite you to make some radical changes in your life this week. Let it jumpstart your transformation.
I want you to say no to at least 5 people. I want you to take a 30-minute timeout each day. Use it to meditate, rest, pray, write, read or anything solitary.
I don’t care if the timeout will force you to lose your job, your man, your mind - anything that can be lost by your practicing a little bit of self-care ain’t worth having anyway; including chattery negative minds.
Shut it down. Your mouth too! Don’t use your words, not even one time this week to send emotional poison to another person. If you’re not using your words to be uplifting, a little bit of silence may do you some good. Find the nature in yourself worth respecting.
Eat healthy by eating only live foods. In fact, one day this week, don’t eat at all. Feed yourself spiritually. Feed yourself creatively. Connect with the divine in order to connect to yourself.
It’s important every now and again to engage in a practice, like fasting, that helps you to remember mind over matter. Mind over matter. Mind over matter. You don’t have to be a slave to your emotions, thoughts or appetite. If you think you can’t live without red meat, him or her, gossip and any other ridiculously appealing bad habit - you need to re-quantize your thinking on the instant.
I’m very simply asking you to do things radically different this week. You can’t keep yaking about the same things over and over without changing your behavior and still expect that things will miraculously work in your favor. Different outcomes require a different you.
You must work in your favor to turn your life around. Whatever you want, have it. It’s already in you. Discover it or shut up. |
